The USDA reports that 1 in 7.4 households in Lenawee County Michigan is food insecure. They don’t know where their next meal will come from.
How would your life be different…if you woke up tomorrow…not knowing if you’d be able to eat anything all day?
Unfortunately, many in our community make hard choices – buy food, or pay for medical care, or pay a utility bill. That shouldn’t happen. and we’re trying to make a difference for them.
But we can’t do it alone.
We partner with others in our community so that, collectively, we can have a positive impact to meet the nourishment needs of our community members.
While we are able to accept canned goods and other food items, the monetary donations go so much further. We can buy in bulk through many resources, spreading the effectiveness of every dollar.
